Did you know that turmeric has powerful anti-inflammatory properties, is a strong antioxidant, and protects against damage and disease?

This recipe from Being Brigid for health-boosting turmeric shots only contains 4 ingredients. 


  • 1 1/2 cups unsweetened coconut water
  • Juice from 1 lemon
  • 2 Tbsp turmeric, ground
  • 1 Tbsp black pepper


  1. Pour coconut water into a shaker cup/blender bottle.
  2. Squeeze the juice from one lemon and add to shaker cup.
  3. Add turmeric and black pepper (black pepper is known to help the absorption of turmeric).
  4. Shake it up and take your shot!
  5. Store leftovers in shaker bottle in the refrigerator (this recipe makes 8 servings).
